The Tentamus Group GmbH, based in Berlin, has developed a concept for online food retailing that checks a safe cold chain in accordance with DIN SPEC 91360.
The online trade is growing continuously, also in the food segment. In addition to products not requiring refrigeration, consumers are increasingly demanding chilled and deep-frozen foods in online retailing. Consumers are also paying increasing attention to environmentally friendly and sustainable food packaging materials.
