It’s finally that time again!
Almost every Wednesday, we would like to introduce an employee of the Tentamus Group in this category. Today, it’s Esther’s turn! She works at the financial department of Tentamus Spain. Have fun reading the interview with her!
You & Tentamus
1. Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us in which department you work.
I work in the Financial Department of Tentamus Spain in which we carry out all the accounting information related to the Spanish Tentamus companies.
2. How does your daily workday look like?
My working day always starts with checking the emails, solving requests of the customers, attending phone calls … I love the communication with the clients.
Besides, I account all the information received trying to have it ready daily and do the checks required. Here is where I can develop my skills.
3. Can you remember your first week here? How did you find it at your new workplace?
I started working in lab after Christmas in 2014. It was a little mess due to the end of the year because it is a very busy period of time for the accountants. They gave me some information for doing the first easy tasks and I realized that I had to learn quickly to reach the required level. But everybody was really kind with me and I tried to do my best.
4. What do you like most about your job?
I would say that doing the monthly reports is the most motivating task because I can analyse what has happened in the previous month and pass the information on to the person who can make business development decisions.
Besides, when a client congratulates me for the good work it makes me feel proud of my job and what I do.
5. What would you tell potential applicants?
It is a very stimulating work in which you can develop your skills. It may seem like a routine task, but every day you can set yourself a new goal and you will work with a team to learn from.
6. What superpower would make your work more enjoyable?
Four arms and superfast skills
